Opening Event of the Rachel Carson Center

The Rachel Carson Center will be celebrating its official opening on July 1, 2010. The Opening Event will feature keynote addresses from three global experts on environmental issues, as well as welcome remarks from representatives of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, LMU Munich and the Deutsches Museum.  In addition, there will be global musical performances and a reception following the event.

Directions to the Event:
The entrance to the Max-Joseph-Saal is located directly across the street from the Viscardigasse and Café Confiserie Rottenhöfer.  Pass between the two lions and continue along the sidewalk.  The entrance to the Max-Joseph-Saal is on the left side – there will be a large Rachel Carson Center sign, as well as staff members to point out the way.
